Tatarstan President meets Heinz Hermann Thiele

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has met Knorr-Bremse AG supervisory board chairman Heinz Hermann Thiele at the House of Government on May 7. Other attendees at the meeting were Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, JSC Kamaz general director Sergei Kogogin and aide to President Iskander Muflikhanov.
The parties discussed issues related to further cooperation between Knorr-Bremse AG and JSC Kamaz, as well as plans pertaining to expanding production.
At Knorr Bremse Kamaz joint venture, producing already foundation brakes, a new as-sembly line for visco dampers was started.
This year's sales volume will exceed EUR 30 mill., strong growth rates for the years to come are expected. The joint venture is addressing to other truck manufacturers in the Russian federation to strengthen their market share for complete brake-systems or -components.
